Happy New Year!

Just a week ago we celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ. Everyone is having fun eating, drinking and exchanging gifts...giving everyone hug's and kisses. Tonight is going to be the New Year 2006. Nothing I could asked for with this family. I've been getting the love and cared I needed, even more that I expected. Weeks ago, I had my second Vet. visit. Everything went well although I was a bit nervous. I was weighed again and Igained 2 lbs. since I got here in the Johnson's family more than a month ago. I was 2.5 lbs. the day they got me. I guess I have eaten a lot these past holidays eh?

What I got for christmas? Dada got me a toy called Discovery Pet IQube from Discovery Channel Store. It keeps me entertained when they are away from home! It has 4 squeaker colorful balls inside. Sometimes Moma hides a treat inside the box and it develops my puzzle-solving and coordination skills. This is just one of my favorite toys.
I had the chance to meet the grandpa while he celebrated with us last christmas. I can tell he liked me and even played with me. I like to nibble on his beard and bite his smelly feet! I love to have him around the house but he has a job so he has to go home, ruuffff! Maybe next time we will visit him when Moma and Dada gets a break from work.
I've been doing pretty well going up and down the stairs lately. Moma has done pretty good job teaching me on this. It has now become one of our favorite exercise routine. Dada usually throws a ball up the stairs and I would go up to get the ball and bring it to him downstairs. I end up with my tongue hanging out! But its OK I love playing with Dada and Moma anyway.

I have grown a lot. Moma always tells me I'm a big dog now but Dada insists I am still a puppy. You see, my real teeth hasn't come out yet. Dada says it will happen anytime now.

I tell you what! One morning, I managed to get out from the fence in the kitchen. (Parents doesn't want me to be going around the great room at night when I am out of sight)
Ruffff! Since I already knew how to go up the stairs, I went up as fast as I could! Moma and Dada's room were open so I came inside and went next to their bed. Dada and Moma woke up to their amazement! Surprised! I am here! I grawled so they picked me up and then I started kissing them. I give Dada a wet kisses all over his face and I would nibble on his ears - and he would scream...ewww dog lips! and he'd call me little Houdini as in the greatest escape artist.

Days ago, Dada bought this car called XMODS Evolution 2006 Ford Mustang GT from Radioshack. It is a remote control car and I swear to all the dog's God's and Goddesses, I didn't like it. I'd bark at it and try to bite but its very quick. It always follows me wherever I go which annoys me.

My hair is growing pretty wild. I was going to get my hair cut but when Dada called for appointment they said its going to be 2 weeks wait. While Moma wanted to do it herself she's afraid it would be impossible considering I can't sit still. She has introduced me to the hair blow drying though, because the past few days I have learned to wash my face. Can't you believe that? Basically, I just emerged my paws and my face into my water bowl and then I get soaked with water...it feels pretty cool to cool myself though. Here is one picture of me after I washed my face...Dada said I looked like a drown rat!

The last two nights, I went for a joy ride with Moma and Dada. I still feel dizzy whenver Dada hits the break. This driving thing is pretty neat, infact I wanted to hit the accelerator myself! Dada said, I had to seek for Puppy's Drivers License first, that's if I'd get one!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Gifts, Ribbons and Wrappings

Wow, I never knew Christmas was one of the busiest holidays people would be celebrating! It's 4 days to go before the big day - the celebration of the birth of Jesus! Grandpapi would be coming to celebrate with us. I am excited to see him, do you think he will play with me? I hope so because I really love to play. Last sunday, Dada and Momma went to buy some christmas gifts at Polaris and told me they were glad I did not go with them because there was a very long line of customers waiting to pay their stuff.

Anyhow, Momma was off from work today. Dada was supposed to be on vacation this week but work needed him. We had a very nice breakfast together. Coffee was so good today as you can see in the picture. I played my toys while Momma had to wash the dishes and clean a little bit. After that, she taught me a few times how to climb the stairs but as usual I'm still scared to death! I think I have a fear of heights. I am just so good when I am going up but when I looked back how many steps I did, oh my golly...i feel like im going to be sick. I guess I just needed time to learn more and be brave.

Anyhow, the day was spent most of the time gift wrapping! I untied the ribbons and helped put the scotch tape unto the box. Momma forgot to buy a tape dispenser which I don't think is not smart with all those gifts we had to wrap!

I just hope I have at least one of these gifts that we wrapped! Do you think I get to choose which one I want? Hmm...it's really hard! There's this huge box wrapped with newspapers and a pretty ribbon, there's a few that are not that big and there's at least 3 small/very cute gifts. I think I deserved at least one!

Our christmas tree is bursting out with gifts and I was tempted to unwrapped one of those small gifts this morning. Momma saw and yelled at me, meannie! She said I had to wait for the night of the 24th before we all exchange gifts. Btw, I had a gift for Dada! I'm not gonna tell you but it was very cute!

I was so exhausted at the end of the day. I had to cry before Momma realized I was tired. She put me on Dada's computer chair to sleep while she is looking for online menu's that she can cook for the Christmas Eve. Rufff!!! untill my next post....happy holidays!

Loving the Holidays

Hi Guys! Did you ever wonder where I have been? I've been so busy Christmas decorating with Momma. As you all know, this is my first christmas and I am so much terrified with all these christmas lights, decorations and christmas stuff toys. I get in trouble for playing with them. Dada caught me sucking with light bulbs and some colorful papers and bells laying on the floor.

Oh, before I forget, Momma and Dada put this annoying train under the tree!
Oh my gosh, you should know how I get crazy especially when its moving around the tree and it honk! It irritates my ear because its too loud! In return, I had to bark on it hoping it would hear me and my barking would stop him from honking! Nah, Dada said it has no ears because its battery operated. I guess I've got to get used with this irritating train going around the christmas tree in circles. Hmm...I just realized something! Maybe Momma and Dada put this train under the tree to guard me from checking out these gifts?

They've been busy taking videos of me while I am fighting with Santa who dances by swaying his BIG hips while singing. He is cool dude though infact I wanted to play with him by knocking him down plus barking him here and there but he just kept ignoring me. He just loves to sing and dance...maybe trying to loose all those fats in his belly?

Oh, oh...and the most
fun! Playing with the snow! Yeeppeee! I get to play with the snow twice already! How do I like it? A LOT! Infact I ate some of the snow...it taste like an ice cream, just without flavor! I also get to check with those dried flowers on Momma's garden. Don't you know I like to eat dried leaves? I ate some dried Gardenia leaves by the porch. I like it because its crunchy! But Momma and Dada gets angry and they have to open my mouth so wideeeee just to get those leaves out from my mouth.

Here's some of those pictures, hope you will enjoy and I will catch you later...I had to hurry help Momma fold the laundry. Bye!

Saturday Socialization

It was a long day today. First off, Momma, Dada and I went to Pet Supplies for my first picture with Santa.

We also went grocery shopping for my food, treats, and some more toys. I also had my ID name tag but I'm not too sure if I like it because its very uncomfy having it on my neck! I guess I have to get used to it, Dada said it is important especially if I get lost.

Everyone at the store thinks I'm the cutest and they love me there...why not, I am the youngest and the prettiest! ;) It was pretty cold that day and I'm glad Momma covered me with a warm blanket. I just took a nap especially on our way to Uncle Doug's house. There I met his kids. 3 of them! I was too shy and they were all so eager to play with me. But they bark on me and they were taller than me. I'm not used being around with another kind of dog's. They were the Miniature Pinture kind (minpin in short). Uncle Doug was so nice and I like to be in his house. Dada promised to take me back there occassionaly so I get used being around with the minpin's.

When we got home, guess what I did? I peed right away. Goosh my bladder is killing me. I've been holding on it for about 5 hours! I was too shy to pee at Uncle Doug's house, even if Momma brought me a wee-wee pad. I peed a lot and I felt relieved! thanks goodness! Then, they left to watch AEON Flux movie at Rave Theatre with Uncle Doug, so I was left all by myself. Too bad puppies are not allowed in the theatre...isn't this a kind of discrimination?

Right now I am fighting off with colds. It started yesterday...gooosshh! I don't like it! I kept sneezing but I still feel the energy. It can't stop me from playing. I stayed with Dada the whole day of Sunday...and we had so much fun bonding as father and daughter. Love you Dada!

I'm a Little Stubborn Critter

Hey guess what, I am exactly 2 months old today. Nothing really much going on here except that Momma is off from work. Yesterday, I spent almost the whole day all by myself. How lonely it is to have nobody playing with me. When Dada got home, he bought this Power Washer for the carpet because he thinks it needs to be cleaned. Imagine all those poop and pee I did everywhere. I don't know but I just can't remember, it's too late before I realized about my wee-wee pad. Whenever I missed my wee-wee pad, Dada and Momma are very frustrated, and they would put me on time out! Hopefuly someday I will remember!

Momma and Dada thinks I was the most rambunctious little critters they ever have and ever seen. When I play -I play so hard and nonstop. I am full of life and energy especially when they play with me. Dad think I'm a little stinker because when they walk, I walk between their feet and that almost make them fell on the floor - haha! Btw, I have a new puppy plush toy that Momma gave to me yesterday. It is now my favorite toy.
I am also a lap dog. I could easily sleep when I am sitting at Momma's lap or Dada's while they watch tv or play computer.

Last night, Dada put a radio in my room in addition to my night light. He thinks that with the radio on, it will stop me from whining and crying at night. Overall, I think it really did help because I only cried around 7am when I was already up and waiting for Momma and Dada to take me out of my room for breakfast and play.

I have a photo to show you. These were when I fall asleep while trying to finish my blog. Let me know what you think, ok?

My First Vet Visit

Dada JJ had his early doctor's appointment today. Before he left, he gave me some water just infront of the fence. I accidently stepped on it and makes my hands and feet wet. Glad Momma Elise came. She picked me up and dried my wet hands and feet.

She had me rested for awhile after she gave me a good breakfast. And then the most exciting part - play time! She had to go for work though but its OK because Dada came from his doc's appointment. He didn't go to work. We both took a nap in his cozy couch. About 1PM he had me ready for my first veterinary checkup.

This is my crate where he put me for our car ride to the clinic. At first I am a little bit unhappy but JJ assured me everything will be OK. I was nervous as to what they gonna do with me at the clinic.

Here is a picture of the clinic. It was a huge place with all this colorful paintings on the wall and a colorful flooring. I am not sure if you can see it clearly but these photo's were taken from JJ's smartphone. There were a lot of dog's patients like me but I was the youngest and according to those girls working at the clinic...I was the cutest! :)

Here are some of the clinic stuff they prepared to use for me. First off, a lady attendant inserted a thermometer in my butt to get my temperature. I didn't like it at all!

This is me sitting while waiting for my doctor to check on me. He started checking my eyes, ears my heart bit, my mouth and gums. They took a stool sample from me and checked for heartworms. We will be back to get my lab test result in few days. They were supposed to do some grooming on me like cutting my nails but good ol breeder of mine - Julie already did! Thanks to her. I remember after all those checkups, the doc talked to JJ. He adviced him that I am at the age where I have to be introduced to socialization.

Overall, I am a healthy little puppy. That makes Dada and Momma happy. When we got home, Dada and I had a nap and when Momma got home we played again...until I was worn out. I still whine and cry at night even if my place was a little bit bigger now.
