A Canine Gene Simmons

Momma was tinkering on the camera this evening when she suddenly call me. I was busy chewing on a rawhide bone. I went up to her and she said SMILE! *Click!* She snapped a picture of me.

Guess what she got?

My breeder Julie told my parents I had longer tongue because they always see my tongue sticking out. I don't think so! I'm just teething! and that's my excuse!

I looked bored and sleepy on here, don't I? That's just how I looked like when I am in serious mood.

Anyway, Momma thinks that first picture was very funny and showed it to Dada. Dada thinks I looked like Gene Simmons. I googled him and apparently he was the legendary, tongue wagging demon of KISS.

Here is a feline Gene Simmons version. Although I think that is hard to believe. It does look like fake to me. What do you think?

Visiting Halle, Berry and Clipper

I had the chance to visit Uncle Doug's babies - Halle, Berry and Clipper, a miniature pinscher (minpen for short). It was my second time to meet them. First time was when I was just very little, about 2 weeks from when I moved in to the Johnson's family. Back then, I was hesitant to mingle with them. This time I have outgrown Clipper and Berry. I still have that shyness within me but hopefully next time, I will be more sociable with them.

Halle and Berry, welcoming us.

Having a chat with Halle:

Uncle Doug got kisses from Berry and Me.

Big Hug from Momma:

Dada, will you pls. get me out'a here! Halle and Berry cornered me!

I got a Kiss from Hale:

hey...Halle, I have something to tell you but don't tell my Dada, m'kay?

Halle, did you just tell my Dada my secret?

Here's Halle, Berry, Clipper and I with my Dada.

Here's a pose at Uncle Doug's house.

After all the chats and plays...it's nap time!

Exploring Outdoor

Yesterday's weather feels pretty descent. Moma as she was off from work took me out for my first outdoor adventure around 4PM. I was jumping with so much excitement as soon as we got out from the house. I could already hear the noise of kids playing at the park. We went for a walk round the neighborhood with my harness and leash attached.

Every now and then, I'd stopped checking out the grass and leaves on the ground. Seems like they are good to eat! We stopped by the ponds and sat on one of the benches...the wind feels so good blowing through my hair.

It is a lot of fun seeing the geese paddling around in the pond. I wanted to wade into the water and scare them! I bet they gonna fly as fast as they can. But I don't think I can do that yet 'coz the water is too deep for me to handle.

The sound of the vehicle and airplanes, dog's barking from the neighboor's, people talking outside their houses, people biking - all these overwhelmed my little head. I could not concentrate on walking.

I never thought there are such things I could experience outside the house. Although like Moma, I like playing with the snow and eating it, I am glad it has stopped snowing for awhile. Then, Moma and I could go for a walk for more.

Boy, exploring the outdoor was too much for me to handle. Although, I was amazed that I get some good smiles and stares from people inside the vehicle passing us. They must have seen how cute I was, which melts my little heart!

Before we head home, I was already tired walking and running, I asked Moma to pick me up as I can't walk anymore and I just want to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the so called outside world!

I was dead tired but nothing feels better than sleeping with my Dada's lap!

A Day in Vain

Last friday night, I had so much fun playing with my lifeless doggie plush friend. I like him because no matter how i bit him up, he doesn't say any word. Unlike Momma and Dada who always say's NO! whenever I bite 'em. Doggie plush just stand by me anytime, I guess untill he is intact.

Momma took a lot of photos while we both were playing that night. She just can't believe I can manage to take doggie plush up and down the stairs. I have already mastered 13 steps of the stairs. Infact, I could easily just jumped the last 2 steps down the stairs.

Here, we were playing...

untill I just fall asleep...I can't believe I fall asleep with these position? Good thing I didn't break my neck.

The second picture Momma put doggie plush ontop of me. I must be very tired that I didn't wake up.

If you notice on these photos, you hardly see my eyes. Believe me, I was having a hard time looking at things. Most of the time, I bumped into something, endeed up hurting myself.
I guess it's that time for grooming?

The following day -saturday, Momma and Dada woke up very early (surprised me!) Oh yeah! I forgot. It's my first grooming appointment at PetSmart! I was scheduled for 8:30AM. Wheeww! too early. The store was not even open yet. We had to rang the doorbell.

Anyway, I was the first puppy to be groomed on that morning. Dada had "the works" for me which includes haircut , toothbrush, nail cutting, ear cleaning and plucking and bath for $29.99.
I was thrimbling when Momma hand me to Mitsy (the lady who was incharge to groom me). Honestly, I was scared. If only Momma and Dada could stay with me but they had to leave because they won't be done with me untill 12:30.

Basically, Mitsy just cut the hairs away from my eyes (so I could see very well). Most of the times those hairs irritates my eyes and made them watery and stains the hairs under my eyes. She also cut the hairs on my paws, hairs on my bee-hind and pluck the hairs growing inside my ears. Then, she cleaned my ears...eeekkk! I was so sensitive on that part. I couldn't sit still! Then she cut my nails, brush my teeth and finally gave me a nice hot bath. I feel very fresh when everything was done. She even put a bow on my hair. She didn't cut the top part because Momma wants them to grow and Mitsy agreed. They would look good when they grow and Momma can pull it up for me.

Mitsy did a very good job grooming me. She gave me a hug when she knew I was scared and assured me everything will be OK. For all she've done to me....I say thank you for making me pretty! I am a happy fluffy puppy now.

Now, I could see very well. Here is a side view :) Isn't that bow looked pretty good on me?

I was so excited about how I looked. One lady commented how cute I was when Momma was browsing for a shirt for me. I saw a lot of dogs and puppies being groomed and waiting to be groomed. Some are very noisy. But I don't care, as long as I feel pretty! :-) that's all I care.

On our way, I kept looking out at the window. I was trying to show off my new haircut to people inside their vehicles.

I like to sit with Dada whenever we are moving. I like to learn how to drive but Dada insists there is no way, so I just content myself being a Daddy's little girl :-)

Momma and Dada kept telling me over and over again how pretty I am with my dark brown eyes. They could actually see my expressions this time. I coudn't say anything but Thank You for taking care of me. I felt like I was treated as human. I felt so loved and cared for! I love you very much Momma and Dada...I'm so lucky to have you as my parents, rruufff!

Funny but true...

Hi just wanting to update you all with pictures Moma and Dada took of ME.

A thousand dollar worth pose from me :-) Ruffff!

As usual, I'm not yet potty trained. Sorry but I am just hard headed. I go to my wee-wee pad If I am in my room because I wanted my place to be clean but If I am out in the great room or upstairs where Moma and Dada's bedroom and computer room is, nah! I just go whenever and wherever I wanted to. Makes the parents angry, but they still love me, 'coz I am C-U-T-E-!

Here is a picture of the 3 of us from the New Year. Moma and Dada were buzzed from drinking alcohol so I slept with them. Looks like a happy family huh?
The first lesson Moma taught me this year was - how t0 brush my teeth! According to her excessive tartar (which I don't have yet) can lead to gum deterioration and tooth loss. This learning seems so cool 'coz I got a fresh breath after all the teeth and gum brushing. Tooth paste taste good and the brush helps my gums healthy.

One morning, Moma left the house and went to Meijer to buy stuff! Look what she got me? Spongebob Sweater! This pretty cool sweater gives me warmth and coziness esp. when the weather is cold. Next time Moma will be buying me more clothing and that pink hat that she fell inloved with. I can wear it on when we go for a walk come spring! I can't wait...

I inherited Dada's thing for geeky stuff. Here I was browsing an Ad Magazine from Brookstone. I think I really like to have one of this Robopets! Aren't they cool?

Moma just got home from work one afternoon. She changed the water in my bowl when her cellphone rang. I wanted to play with her so bad because I've been alone all day. But she choose to answer the call and talked for quite awhile.
To get her attention, I picked up the bowl with water using my teeth and went to the stairs and spilled it! Rufff rufff!! Moma saw it, she went bye-bye to the caller! She got mad a little bit, and when she started to clean the spill...here's what I did!

Here is one of those mornings where I had to wake up Dada. I'd go into his face and start licking and biting! And Dada would scream....eewwww!!! dog lips! I like it when he'd scream heheh the more he'd scream the more I liked to be on his face! Moma as usual keeps laughing. Then, Dada and I would start to play. Their bed feels so comfy, how I wished I would be sleeping with them someday!

One night, I was in the kitchen playing this IQube that Dada bought for me last christmas. I was trying to get the balls inside when suddenly I had my neck all the way to the other end. I was stuck! Darn, I couldn't get the thing out from my neck no matter how I wiggled it.....so I just continued playing, until Dada went to check on me.

I saw him looked at the place where I was sitting but he just continued and prepared my water for the night. Then he called my name so I went near him in the sink! As soonn as he looked on his back and saw me sitting he started laughing out sooo loud! Called Moma to come down from the computer room. He's like OMG! Look at ur daughter and they both were laughing while looking at me. They bought think this is funniest and craziest thing I've done so far! So, I just laughed with them and wiggled my tail.

One last thing, one night Moma came home about 9PM from work. I went with her upstairs in their bedroom. She changed her clothes and not realizing one of her earrings fell off from her left ear. She just realized she lost it when she went downstairs and use the bathroom. She then came back upstairs to look for it. Saw the lock but not the earrings....but I know where it is!

It's in my Stomach! Rrrufffff! I ate it! Yes, yes, yes i hide it in my stomach! I am just curious how it taste like. You know I ate anything I see right? Though I was worried that it will grow big in my tummy or I will have a gold bars in my tummy that won't come out until somebody will open my stomach. Good thing, this morning it just came out when I did my morning routine. :-) I promised though, I won't ever eat an earring anymore....framiz!

Oh by the way, this coming saturday will be my first hair cut. Dada finally had an appointment for me and I am not sure how this hair cutting goes. So better check out for some photos and see how it goes, m'kay?
