Out for a ride

SUNNY - the boy-boy!

STAR - the girl-girl!

Dada got into trouble early this week! He pulled the string for the blinds and whhaammm! Got it broken. Everything fell apart. Took it to the Blinds factory and now its time to pick it up. So we get to go for a ride. Sound's fun right? I love fun ride. Sunny on the other hand was more of a luggage than a passenger. What can I say my brother is a scarry-cat err...dog! I am more into adventure. I could move from the back seat to the front seat even if the car was moving. I pretty much know how to make a good grip so I wont slide when Dada hits the break hard or when he hits the accelerator. I love to stand up next to the window and see the beauty of the world. I could also sat in the driver's seat and be the co-pilot. It was gorgeous day, we couldn't ask for more!

Gorgeous day, clear blue skies!

A Missionary school we spotted on our way to the Blind's Factory.

Store at downtown Westerville we saw on our way home.

With Dada in the front yard.

Sunny's Hide Out!

Hi pals! We dogs have this weird place in the house that we love to hang out. I've seen some of you loves to hide, sleep and/or eat at the back of the teevee or in the kitchen sink. In my case, I love the fireplace 'coz it is cold and it felt really good in my warm tummy. I also loved the air vent. I love it when the air is blowing my furr 'coz cools me off.

My brother Sunny is the weirdest between us two. He loves to lay and sleep beside the toilet bowl. This is his cooling place, his hide out, his home base...whatever you call it! This is the best place in da house for him! Anyone out their as weird as him?

Sunny is smiling, why not? This place is heaven!

...and this is Sunny in deep slumber!

We love Rita's!

Whew! It is getting really hot down here in Westerville, Ohio lately. It's time for some ice cold treats at Rita's! Human parents loved Gelati. It is made from layering Rita's vanilla or chocolate old-fashioned frozen custard and their favorite italian ice flavored blueberry, cherry or mango! Brother Sunny and I loved the freebee vanilla! Yumm...it is soo refreshing! Try it! I'm sure you pup's out there loved it!

Yeah...just utter the magic word "let's go, let's go!" and I know it's time for a joyride, I don't care how long/short the drive is, you won't hear me whining! I looove it specially when its drive-thru time! I really get sooo excited, and why not? because until now, I couldn't figure out why that drive-thru window spits out food and drink! It's so facinating! Can somebody tell me why?

Tampuhan

Let's learn some Tagalog language. This picture show's when Sunny and I had "tampuhan" which basically means lover's quarrel, often manifested in total silent treatment or not speaking terms.

Usually, tampo in Filipino culture is manifested in non-verbal ways, such as not talking to other people, keeping to one's self, being unusually quiet, not joining friends in group activities, not joining family outing, or simply locking one's self in his or her room.

So why the tampuhan between me and Sunny?! What else but over small things like toy! One afternoon, Dada came home from the office with a "pasalubong" (gift) for each of us which is a basketball toy. We both were very excited to play. After about a week, Momma realized Sunny made a hole on his new toy. What a destroyer! Now, he wanted to borrow mine but I don't want him to play with it too long, afraid that he might destroy it....now he isn't talking to me.

Done-Gone Easter Egg Hunt

Hey folks! Guess what!? My brother and I had our first egg hunting today. Its sooo fun! As soon as Momma got up this morning, she took as down from the bedroom and told us to find the eggs under the coffee table. Dada said, we were supposed to do it outside but its too cold and currently snowing. So we looked for the eggs...under the table!
Star to Sunny: Let's see who gets the egg first!

The eggs are way too far for me to reach! Let me try different positions :p

...and I am the winner! I wonder if I should eat the shell too?

I am so proud of myself! and I am sooo excited to eat this!

.......wait!
Sunny Boy found his egg!
Sunny to Star: Is this a real egg?
I never had an egg before, what does it taste like? and how do we eat this?

Star asked me to taste the shell first ...not too bad! But Dada said were not supposed to eat the shell :p

...and so I asked Mom to peel the egg for me.

Hey egg! Now that your shell is gone...watch out! I'm coming to eat yah!
I wasn't too sure what to do with this egg until I realized there is an egg yolk inside. That was the first thing I ate and decided that I can eat the whole thing! However, Star really like it that she stole half of mine!

I am glad that Sunny like his egg. Now I can eat mine.

Egg was sooo goodelicious!. I had to get half of Sunny's. It's OK! He don't need a lot. He is still a puppy and besides it might upset his stomach.

These were just some of the eggs that Momma and Dada painted last night. They spent so much time at the kitchen. Sunny and I got bored and fall asleep hangin' out with them hopin' we could see what they were doing. It's worth the wait though. As you can see, Sunny and I enjoyed out first egg hunting...who says egg hunting are just for kids?
