My Baby is now a Girly

Twinkle turned 1 year old! Can you believe that? It seems like its was like a month ago when we first saw her. We had no plans of getting another critter but as soon as I hold her, we knew she'd be happier with us and we can give her much love a fuzzy critter longs to. Well not to make this rant too long, here is my baby girl in her first birthday outfit, and she did really good job modeling it for Momma:
She of course received some gifts which are mostly in pink! from her loving human parents. We are so happy for her and are really proud how she has grown. She is well mannered. She is a stinker, goofy and always starts a play. Just imagine when we are settled in the great room watching tv, movie or something. Star and Sunny were just laying around and her comes, little Twinkle running in full throttle back and forth the great room and on to the stairs going up and down! That leads to the big sister and big brother Sunny wanting to catch her and pin her down, maybe telling her to stop her craziness! However, when someone's really wanting to pick a fight with her, she will just ignore it like she is supposed to. She is feisty but well behaved dog, I tell ya.

Anyway, what did the stinker gets for her birthday? She had a pink donut, pink buddy, pink coach dog collar, pink photo frame and pink pup-pie cake! Her birthday outfit is a hand-me-down outfit from Star's first birthday but it was huge to her. It seems like she already reach her final size so I might get her a perfect size birthday tee for next year. The day after her birthday, Dada bought her more toys! and some chew2x and canoli.

And where are party buddies? Well of course, as usual its Star and Sunny. The boy looked handsome here while Star was kind of nervous the whole time. She was drooling and is not enjoying the party, oh well.....

Snow! Snow! Snow!

We just had snow mania in our place and so its time for fuzzy play! Star loves snow so much! I think she would play in the snow all day long if given a chance. She loves it when she is all covered up with snow. She just runs around me and only stops when we took picture.

Sunny on the other hand used to love snow but this time he did not. Maybe he felt it too cold and the snows could reach his boybits! I wanted him to really just run around like Star but he just really wants to taste the snow as you can see in the picture. Before he could warm up he already wanted to call this snow playing thing quits!

Twinkle's first was awesome. I thought she'd freeze after seeing so much snow but no she even had fun poopin' out! She went around to the bushes and sniffed, she even showed her goofiness and no signs of calling it quits until I had to!

In themed outfit

The fuzzies are in tune for today's Trick or Treating! We've shopped their outfit since the beginning of this month and we are quite happy with our choices. Though, Sunny's costume was kind of weird. Blame it to Dada! He picked a hot dog outfit for poor Sunny. He thought it will be more of Sunny since he loves hot dogs toys. They had their bath and grooming that morning so they smell pretty good and were looking handsome and pretty wearing their outfit. Twinkle and Star wasn't bothered at all. They wore the outfit with pride. Sunny was uneasy with the heaviness and hugeness of his custome. Overall, I think they had fun. They would bark when someone rang's the doorbell and then they would come to the door and sniff the kids when I hand them their candies. Here's my adorable doggies with their outfits!

Fuzzies loves Fuji

Remember we just did apple picking? Oh that was a lot of fun climbing up those tiny branches of Fuji tree. Anyway, I purposely picked tiny fuji's for the fuzzies. I knew they love apple and I thought maybe they would looked cute munching this tiny apples. As soon as we got home and put the apple bags on the floor, their face were on it sniffing and being curious if there is anything for them in it. Twinkle immediately got hold of a tiny one. She ran away with it and rolled over it and starting munching. Her face was so excited! Star and Sunny went with her and just looking at what she got. I called them back and gave them tiny apples as well. They did the same thing, they were rolling on top of the apple and giving that smiley face. Here they are:

Twinkle: An apple a day keeps the vet away!

Sunny: you can never go wrong with apple!

Star: Now you know my secrets for staying sexy!

I am getting old!

We just had birthday party for ME yesterday! I am 3 years old now. As usual we started a day with bathing and grooming and making sure Sunny, Twinkle and I are clean and smells good to party. Momma had me wore my all time favorite birthday tee. I love it, I was playful and proud wearing it. All three of us wore a party hat which looked really cute! Momma decided to make my birthday cake which is really just made from a pancake recipe. We love it when she makes pancake for breakfast and most of the time ate most of her share. So this time, since we love pancake then that's what she made and just decorated it with some frosting. I received toys and chew-chew's from them and I was quit happy. Sunny and Twinkle loved the cake as well and we all played until we run out of juice! (I am24 years old in human age)

Mr. Sunny turned a year older

My brother is now 2! We had a little birthday celebration right before Dada and Momma had to leave for Las Vegas. It's their 5th wedding anniversary and they are celebrating it there for a week. We had to stay at the Pet Palace the entire time they are not here.

Momma said sorry that they had to leave on Sunny's birthday but we she did a great job. They had a huge birthday cake from the Three Dog Bakery. Sunny had a birthday outfit, a party hat, toys and a signature coach dog collar in black!

We all liked the taste of that cake from the dog bakery and it looked so good and yummy. It's just sad that we had to take off immediately and continue our celebration at the Pet Palace. I am sure we will have fun meeting some new dogs who's also vacationing just like us and hopefully I can find a boyfriend out there! Woooff!

There's a Dog Bakery!

Well Momma had been talking about a Dog Bakery which is a little further from our house. It's located at Short North, very close to downtown Columbus. She said she had to go there and check out what they have for us! That's a good news since we've been kind of sick with just about the same treats we get everyday, we need varieties! I was beginning to imagine if they have fresh baked cookies, anything chewy and yummy? Well, Sunny's birthday is coming and so Momma and Dada now has reasons to go to that Three Dog Bakery and they did! Woww!!! what an amazing place they said, they have so much stuff particularly pastries and anything sweets for the pups!

We were so excited when they got home with a few bags of goodies. We followed where ever it goes and we sniffed it and bark at it. It was so tempting! We knew its for us and Momma had no choice except to open the bag and gave us something to try. In this picture shows the buckeye candy. It smells so chocolate-y and Dada wondered if there really was no chocolate in it. He knew chocolate is bad for fuzzies, eh? Well, he had to check the website first and made sure its a puppy treat! I don't understand at all! I mean hello, they bought it at a Dog Bakery!!! You think they'd sell something to kill us? Anyway, yes we ate it and its soooo good!

Look at this priceless photo of Twinkle! I don't know though if her eyes got big due to the flash or she was just enjoying her buckeye treat.

Gosh, I was so stuffed, happy and content after chowing down biscuits and the buckeye treat. Mr. Sunny was already taking a nap by this time :)

Poor Little Sister

My little sister Twinkle got spayed this morning. I felt so bad for her. She didn't know what is about to experience when Dada took her alone to the Vet's Clinic. She's still tiny and sweet and I don't think she has fully grown yet but Momma said it needs to get done. We don't need for her to get her first period and then be spayed after just like what happened to ME. So, Dada took her in to Big Walnut Animal Care Center where the Vet's are awaiting to care for her. I tell you, they are super nice in that place and are good in what they are doing. They finished the operation on time. She had to recuperate before we could pick her up but she did really well. Momma had to go get her this time with Me and Mr. Sunny. Our nails needs to get trimmed. Dada came to pay the bills and off we were home. Twinkle had to stay inside a cage where the Sunny and I are off limits. Dada said Twinkle had to slow down on everything, no jumping, rough playing or else the stitches will ripped off! Oh well, I am sure we can wait for her until she is all healed, I just don't know if Twinkle could??? :)

Thinking...

I caught Sunny into a deep thinking. You think, something is bothering him or he maybe imagining things? Maybe just tired and sleepy? I am wondering as well. Sunny becoming more and more handsome. BUT he still has not hit on ME!!! Wofff Woofff!

In touch with the nature

What a nice day today. Momma got home early from work and the first thing she said is....wanna hang out, Girly??? It's perfect weather outside! She assembled the playpen and brought us in. Gave us something to chew on and a water bowl and we are good to go. We spent almost an hour with the wind blowing thru our feathers I mean, furr and a few bypassers admiring us while we are having a blast. This occassion happened once in a blue moon and so we made the most out of it. Here's the three of us: Twinkle, Sunny and of course Me :p

We got Coach!

Momma and Dada just got back from their Prime Outlet trip and got us a dog collar! Wooohooo! Our first designer piece. Twinkle got black and I got red and they are both made of leather. Sunny did not get any though because they don't have any leather that would fit him. Oh well, I am sure you'll get one next time, Sunny! Just be a good boy, as always :)

She is annoying!

Twinkle looked like a drowned rat after digging water out from the bowl.

I remember when I was at this age with Twinkle. My gum are swollen and it felt good to chew, something, someone, anything, anytime. She is a total disaster right now. Biting, nibbling fingers and human toes and ankle. In Sunny's teething stage, he liked to chew furniture. I think he ruined quite a few side table, coffee table and part of the stairway. I noticed that when we play she gets so rough and bite us too hard. Ouchh! I know she is unconscious about it so we just let her be. After all, we've been into this teething stage. I find it annoying though, (which Sunny and I used to do) is that she play our water bowl. She dig's the water out and make a lot of mess. That leaves me and Sunny nothing to drink when we get thirsty. Momma gets to clean her mess a few times a day, I am sure its not fun doing it. Good thing, Momma remember about the magic of ice cubes, She'd gave it to Twinkie as much as she can, as many times a day. That will help Twinkle ease a little bit of the pain and uneasiness.

She's still here

Twinkle's first night with us was very rough. Even if she feels that she found her home, it still is a new environment. She is sleeping in a new room, new scent, new companions, everything is new. She was restless until early morning. Her and Dada had to go out of our room so that Sunny and I and Momma could get rest. Sunny and I had been barking at her and just being mean, wishing and hoping that she'd feel uncomfortable and unhappy in her new environment. Only to our dismay. Dada told us, Twinkle means no harm and she will be staying with us wither we like it or not.

Twinkle was such a happy go lucky little pooch. No matter how bad we treat her, she is always showing her playful side. Her and Sunny became friends first. Although, Sunny finds her a little annoying from time to time. On the other, I showed her my tougher side. I'd play with her, yes but I made sure she knows I have limitations.

She is a little stinker though and that makes her special to us. Give us few more weeks and we will totally cool down and fully accept her as our fuzzy sister!

Btw, here's a video taken the night she got home.

Help! There's a rodent!

Twinkle - The night she came home.
Barely 5 mos. old female shih tzu

Ugh, can you believe that??? Momma and Dada brought another rodent in our house! and she is a girl and a Shih Tzu breed like me!!! (sob! mad! bark! lots of bark!!) I can't believe this. Parents said they will be out to watch a movie and that Me and Sunny should take a nap, and that's what we did, but boy! My mean parents did not watch a movie, they went to Petland and got Twinkle! Yah, that is her name according to them. Me and Sunny don't like her at all. She feels so confident running around the house and trying to play with us. BUt...no no, she'd be getting a cold shoulder, growl and we are gonna make sure to scare her and make her leave us aloooonnneee! Get this rodent out of this house!

What's with April the Fur-10th!

What's up everyone? Nothing much going on here in the Fuzzy land. Except, that Momma tried these grooming tools that she bought from ebay and petsmart. She wants to learn to groom us by herself and we had no problem about it. It will save her money and she can do it anytime we need it. Going to a professional groomer can cost her $130.00 more or so! Imagine that! So she figured that by buying the right tool and with more practice she will eventually learn how to groom us by herself.

Anyway, Mom invested on Andis ultra edge animal clipper, Oster snap on guard combs, nice pair of scissors and she's off to go. She first worked on me using 1/4" guard comb. It did not took so long for her to finish on me. Just a little trim on my hair for the most part as my hair was not as tangled as Sunny! So that's a good thing.

2 days after the grooming

As for Sunny's part. Mom had no choice but to really make it short using 1/8" guard comb and for the tummy and chest part which is completely shaved. He's hair was all matted from rough playing. The trickiest part is how to work on our tummy and chest part. Other than that, its pretty much all about patience, patience and more patience. (wink!)
sunny on top of momma's clean laundry, taken 2 days after grooming.

Overall, she did a good job considering that she never had a grooming lesson except from watching video's online and from a pro that she emailed with to ask questions on what particular grooming items to buy.

I only have one advice for Momm... perhaps, your next investment would be for a Pet Grooming table??? Attention, Dada! :)

Got grass?

Has any of you fuzzies like to eat grass at all? I mean grasses that grew in your lawn? 'Coz, my brother Sunny really like them...or shall I say love them?! Eating grass is the first thing he does in the morning when Momma took us out for potty. We thought it was odd for him to do that. Sunny might be a part dog, part goat or something??? Now that is funny :) Anyway, Momma and Dada came home tonight with a Pet Grass from petsmart. It was supposed to be a 100% wheatgrass that will aid digestion and supplement pet's diet and with fresh vitamins and minerals. Curious if I did try this Pet Grass?? We'll see!
Sunny looked like devil dog with his red eye....I could not get rid of it using picnic software :(

here is sunny enjoying his pet grass

i did not really care much about it....

until....
Well, that was just a taste! heck, i don't wanna be called part goat huh! but honestly, it wasn't too bad. I still prefer my toilet paper...if given a chance! **woof woff wofff***

..and now for the much awaited video!

Snowballs baby!

Awwwooo!!! My skin hurts from the snowballs! We had a snow storm 2 days ago. Our city is on level 2 which means everyone is not allowed to drive around because its still dangerous. Not all of the roads were cleared of snow. (Blessing in disguise! ) You know what that means???? That means no work for Momma and Dada.

Woff wofff!! Everybody is home! How cool is that??? So yah, what we did early morning was p-l-a-y yes! Lots of play! Sunny and I spent almost and hour running around, hopping like bunny rabbits on top of soft and powdery snow! It didn't took so long before it accumulated and we could hardly move due to added weights and boy we were frozen !
Look, Sunny's boybits were hurting and frozen like popsicles! You can't see it but that's what he felt at that moment. You wanna know how my tiny ass is doing??? More icicles got stocked down there.

So...please Momma, stop taking pictures now and give us warm bath now...please????
