Adjusting my New Environment

Poor Dada JJ and Momma Elise, didn't get enough sleep from last night. It was around 4AM until they fall asleep again. It was so nice of JJ to stay and work from home. He doesn't want to leave me all by myself on my first day. That was so sweet of him. Momma was still in bed. Around 8AM, JJ was already calling the Vet's Office to set up an appointment for my first checkup. Oh, I remember before I left my old home, my breeder Julie gave me a shot. Dada was holding me while Momma was looking. I didn't say a thing. I didn't cry nor get wild. See how good girl I am? I am so proud of myself.

Dada left me around 5PM to get some food and get me a Pet Gate, a puppy carrier - ya know he will take me to my first vet visit :) he also bought me eye wipes, ear wipes and book for shih tzu and my shampoo. Can't wait to have my shower :)

Momma finally came home a little late around 8:30PM. She played with me. I chased and nipped at her. Did you know, I can run as fast as her? Sometimes she almost stepped on me because I love to be in between her feet. That would have been a big Ouucchhh!

Btw, I wasn't too sure about their kitchen floors...it looked to shiny! I am afraid to step on it, so I just stay in the carpeted area. Also, JJ bought me this food and water plate that are made of metal? They also looked too shiny and I could see myself whenever I go near it. Not to mention it makes a squirky sound if I accidently moved it. Momma patiently cleaned my dried eye tears today but I thought she was playing with me so l bit her fingers. Dada put his fingers in my mouth as a pacifier so Momma could finish the job.

At night. I don't really like when I am all by myself. It's so freaking dark. Makes me lonely and sad. Momma slept very sound while I was waking up Dada around 2AM, 4AM and 5AM. He got up for work at 6:30AM, he looked a little woozy :)

Before I forget, they have decided that my name will be STAR! I am the Star of All Shih Tzu!
