Picture taken with Santa

This was yesterday's pictures taken with Santa Claus at Petsmart. I had to beg Momma to join with me because I freaked out as soon as I saw him. He looked like a nice guy though but his long beard just scares me plus the fact that he is such a huge dude! I don't know much about him but Dada said he only show's up on christmas with a gift-giving role, he is famed to be the friend of children and pets like me. I had picture with him last year at Pet Supplies and he even carried me, imagine that? I was just a puppy then so I don't remember much!

Vaccinating for Kennel Cough

I was due for Bordetella vaccine (kennel cough) today at Annehurts Clinic. It is similar to human cold flu. Symptoms are fever, swollen tonsils or lymph nodes and a deep, "honking" keep-you-and-the-dog-up-all-night cough that takes weeks to go away. But before that, we went to Petsmart for a Santa picture taking. I was all excited since Momma bathed me this morning until but I got scared when I saw Santa. He was an old man with very long beard. He wore red santa suite but no eyeglasses. I don't wanna go near him unless Momma will pose with me. It came with 2 polaroid photo's and 2 picture frame. $5 of if will go to the benefit of homeless dogs. Good idea right? Then we went shopping for winter coat. I will show you some photo next time with my coat and sweater on, ok?

We head out to the vet and I was told that I am in good shape. Doc wanted me to stay active and stay on my weight which is 13.6 lbs. She checked my heart, eyes and ears, teeth and then gave me a shot. Its painful but I took it with courage. And then she give me a nasal application. I was also given a heart worm tablets that will last a year. I will be back after 4 weeks for some booster. My parents were also adviced to get me a ladder to discourage me from jumping at high level. You see, in human age I am 17 years old now. We pretty much grow old very quick so they wanted to prevent back injury for me. Here's the much awaited photos of me today.

We are on our way to the Vet and as soon as we got there they took me into this big weighing machine and was told that my weight is just right - 13.6 lbs.

It's Winter Time

Yay! Did ya know we had snow today? Not really much though. It did not even covered the grass but it accumulated a little more in the sides of our driveway.

Momma took me out for a walk and then when we got home I get to play and eat the snow! wof wof wof!

ya ya! I ate the snow, I don't quite remember about snow since I was just just a baby last winter. I am loving it thoug. It does looked like one of those ice cubes that Momma and Dada are giving me...hehehe pant pant!

Yes, I am guilty of eating the snow, so what? I had snow's all over my hair that were hardened. Momma had to wash it with warm water.

After Halloween Grooming

Hey there! Guess what? Dada is home after 3 weeks. He needs to go back home ahead of my Momma because he needed to go to Chicago for a conference and he is staying there for a week. So for the time I am home for the weekend but I will be back to Tita Carmen's house. I had a lot of tangle's so Dada decided to take me to Petsmart for grooming. My groomer said it was too bad that she needed to cut it. I looked funny but it will grow. It was a long day though. I didn't get to play and eat right. I spent 2 hours with Dada after grooming and then he dropped me to Tita Carmen's house for another week stay.

I looked funny with my new hair cut. I am very exhausted and very sleepy.

I went down underneath the bed and slept and then moved back to the bed...my parents bed =)

Vacationing at the Robinson's Family

Hi there!

it's been awhile since momma and dada left for their month long vacation and I am left with Tita Carmen and Uncle Kerry's loving care. I am beginning to like it here since they have 2 dogs, remember Cinnamon and Hershey? I get to play with them a lot esp. Hershey, we are the best buddy. What I like best is I get to wake up pretty early like around 6am. Ian goes to school while Uncle Kerry goes to work. Tita Carmen is with us 24/7.

By the time we get up, we do our business and then we play around the house, running, jumping, barking and everything a crazy doggie like us can do. When we get tired around 9am, we all take a nap and then wake up again around 12-1pm, eat and play and sleep around 3-4pm and then wake up at 6-7 and then eat and play this time with Uncle Kerry and Aunt Carmen at the dog park. That is pretty much our routine every single day.

Isn't that nice? No problem to take care off woff woff! We don't need to go to work to make donuts. I am so thankful that I am staying with the Robinson's. I probably crazy now if I boarding at the Animal Care Center. I am missing my parents though. I just hope they are enjoying their vacation. It won't be long before they are here and we will be a happy family again. Take care ya all!

My birthday

Wooff! today is mah birthday. I am one year old. Now I am officially a big girl, but Dada says I will always be a baby puppy for them. My parents greeted me first thing in the morning, groomed me and made sure I would smell good for the Reznik's who are the only visitors.

I wore the birthday girl tee Momma bought for me. My birthday is nothing really fancy. The kids came and we played, they made and decorated a cookie and ate some. I was exhausted by the time they left since I didn't get my usual nap time. But Momma said, its OK....a birthday is always like that, you know? I have to learn how to entertain visitors.

I took a nap right away until Dada got home. He got me gifts! a squiky and rattling tentacle toy and monkey. Woofff the monkey was very ugly, i'm telling you!

Anyway, we went to the Bark Park. I get to chase and play with other dogs. However my energy didn't last long enough, I was tired and Momma can tell when my mouth is already foamy - I need to go home.

SO we did and when we got home, Momma showed me my birthday cake made of honey and carrots. I told her I don't really like sweets 'coz i'm watching my figure ya know? but she went ahead and made a simple one just for the heck of it. Maybe just for photos? Although I love how colorful it is plus the star candle, really fits my personality. And then...lots and lots of photos...and soon we ate and kissed and said goodnight.

What a day, woff! Momma really prepared for it. According to her, she wanted the best birthday for me. Or, maybe she is just guilty? Her and Dada are leaving me to Mama Carmen's caring for a month. Yes! and you read it right, my human parents are going to Asia in few days and I am diffinitely going to missed them. I only want my Momma and Dada to care for me but what can I do? I am just a doggie and it would be hard for them to transport me that far.

...but for sure, I will always be here waiting for them. And in the meantime, I will be having a grand time puppy playin' with Hershey and Cinnamon.

Greetings!

I was taking a nap with Momma this afternoon when suddenly someone rang the door bell. I hurriedly jumped out of the bed and barked at Momma to open the door for me so we can check who's at the door. We saw this box delivered by a guy from fedex.

I was excited what's inside the box and I thought it was something for me from Petsmart. Boy I was wrong. It's a flower for Momma from Dada celebrating their 3rd year wedding anniversary, woff wooff!

Fun at the Bark Park

Wow, I am wooofing so tired from runn ing and playing at the Bark Park. We just got back awhile ago and it was fun going to that place. Alt hough going home, Momma needed to give me a quick bath since my furr is so dirty from mud and wet grass.

There was nobody when we got there this afternoon. So I got all the place to run around and be silly.

...and then Bella came in. She is sooo tiny that it scared me to play with her. In the end, I looked like a coward because all I needed to do was to run and not letting her touch me because I am afraid to hurt her. I can be rough if I get so loose, ya know.

Rhere was only Bella and I today. She is pretty cute dog but she did not stay long enough because she's been biting my tail and so her Momma thought that she is done for the day or else it will give me a bad experience.

Bark Park at Brooksedge is very close to our house. I dunno why Momma and Dada just thought about taking me here recently. It was my second time since sunday.

Sunday visit was very uncomfortable for me. I felt so strange from all the dogs in there. It was actually my first time to be sniffed. There were like 7 dogs in there. Some barked like they never barked before. They are loud! and some are running so rough so I have to watch out! I am scared that they will run me over.
